Ph.D. in Computer Science and MS in Electrical Engineering, IEEE senior member.

Dr. Meng is an experienced and passionate educator who seeks to train middle and high school students to innovate with STEM. His students have won dozens of top awards at the most prestigious national and international science competitions, including ISEF, STS, ACM Cutler-Bell Prize, Davidson Fellowship, and HackMIT.​

**Course Instruction Methods**

- Course Overview:

- Includes theory lessons and programming labs.
- Students submit applications during class.

- Class Time:
- 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM PST (8:00 PM to 9:30 PM EST).

- Office Hours:
- Two weekly sessions for group help.
- Support for assignments.

- Class Format:
- Taught in English on Zoom.
- Cameras need to be on for everyone.

- Communication:
- Students will join a 247 Discord group.
- Access to Zoom links, recorded classes, and assignment information.

- Equipment Needed:
- One PC (Windows or Mac) and one Android device.
- iOS devices are allowed for the 101 course; the 204 course requires extra equipment

- Parent Participation:
- Parents will be invited to a communication group.
- Details about class arrangements will be shared before the course begins.
